『マークスの山』（マークスのやま）は、高村薫の小説。1993年に早川書房から単行本が刊行され、2003年に改稿版が講談社文庫に収録された。高村はこの作品で第109回（1993年上半期）直木賞を受賞している。南アルプス夜叉神峠で起こった親子心中事件で生き残った少年が、その後成長して「マークス」を名乗り、連続殺人を犯す。「マークス」には、ある事件に関係するキーワードが隠されていた。

香港九龙区旺角混混阿杰（刘德华）做事利落重情义，颇有老大风范，为了照顾做事冲动又好面子的小弟乌蝇（张学友），他不停地在各种大小麻烦中周旋，甚至不惜为乌蝇与黑道狠角色（万梓良）结仇。阿杰表妹阿娥（张曼玉）前来旺角看病暂住他家，两人慢慢互生情愫，但因为担心自己的身份最终会给阿娥带来伤害，阿杰选择了将心事埋藏。待阿杰明白真情抑压不住想对命运做番抵抗时，乌蝇却再次因好面子面临生命危险，于是一道友情与爱情必选其一的难题重又摆在阿杰面前。

　　《极斗4之暴杀令》故事讲述香港的家庭暴力和女性被侵犯事件，各人对事发的反应，当中有人选择以暴易暴，替天行道，其实为社会和法律不容，因为香港无蝙蝠侠，不可以执行私刑，其实电影带出社会问题令人反思。
　　《极斗3之雅博渡口》是「与神格斗」后，这次《极斗4之暴杀令》是「与仇恨格斗」，电影主题与性侵犯有关，并表明调子相当灰暗。“极斗4之暴杀令”有点像80年代经典电影【山狗】，山姆哥借电影致敬。
