　　故事发生在临安城内，许仙（秦祥林 饰）和舅舅共同经营着一间名为正德堂的药店。一天，许仙正在赶路，于西湖边上遇见了一名白衣女子白素贞（林青霞 饰）和她的侍女小青（秦之敏 饰）。白素贞正在往钱塘关去，希望许仙能够护送他们。白素贞性格温和成熟，而小青则可爱俏皮，一路上，两人给许仙留下了非常深刻的印象。
　　之后，在一来二去之间，白素贞和许仙两人产生了真挚的感情，决定成亲，婚后生活非常的幸福美满，白素贞帮助许仙将药店搬到了镇江，结果生意大好，门庭若市。一天，一名茅山道士路过药店门口，惊觉其中妖气浓重。

HavingwitnessedhisjunkiefatherkilledRussellStevensgrowsuptobecomeapolicemanandmakeadifference.WhenheisofferedanundercoverjobbyGeraldCarverheacceptsandbeginstobuildarelationshipwithDavidJasoninordertogettothemaindealers.Howeverasheisforcedtodealdrugsandkilltokeephiscoverhefindsthelinesbetweencopandcriminalbeinglost–isheacoppretendingtobeadealeroradealerpretendingtobeacop?Larry(ashewasthen)Fishburne'sfirstleadrolewasatypicallydarkvehicle.Thestoryistheusualoneofcoplosinghimselfwhenundercover,howeveritmanagestobemorethanthatformostofthetime.Co-writtenbyTolkin,whowroteThePlayer,thisnaturallyhasanicecynicaledgetoitwhenitlooksattheUS'shypocriticalapproachtodrugcontrolandthepoliticallinksbetweenthestreethustlersandthepoliticalhighrollerswhocourtrespectability.Thestorydoeseventuallysettleintoatraditionalsettingbuteventhenitworkswellasathriller.Themulti-talentedBillDukedirectswellwithagrittyfeelandafewnicetouches.Howeverseveralthingsareabitiffy.FormostofthefilmFishburne'snarration/voiceoverisabitlikeacrossbetweenApocalypseNowandBladeRunner–itcomesacrossasalittletoodarkandheavyandalsoexplainsthingslikewecan'tfigureitoutourselves.Howeveronceyougetintothefilmit'snotasbigadeal.Mymainproblemlieswiththecharacters.Fishburneisexcellent,arealmodelofunderlyingangerandviolence,GoldblumisgoodbutperhapsalittleOTTontheyuppie/violencething,butthere'sgoodsupportfromSmithandSpinCity'sbeautiful(andoftenunderused–butnothere)VictoriaDillard.Howeverthetwomainwhitecharacters(GoldblumandSmith)arebothsmearedwithracistinsinuations–Smithappearstoinsulthisblackofficersanddoesn'tcareaboutthejunkies,whileGoldblumisfascinatedaboutallthingsblackandtalksaboutthemaswildbeautifulbeastsandloveshavingsexwith"black'.Thesethingsaren'tamajorproblem,butwithbasicallyonlytwowhitecharactersinit,it'salittleworryingthatbotharegiventhatedge.Howevertheseareminorcomplaintsthatgetlostwithagoodthriller.FishburneexcelsandDukedeliversastorythatisagoodthrillerbutalsohasajaded,subversiveedge.

享有“俄罗斯铁榔头”之称的综合格斗运动员维克多在比赛后的庆功会上偶遇上学时便心仪的女子薇拉和博彩公司老板热尼亚。因为拒绝和热尼亚合作，以及和薇拉的亲密，维克多遭到热尼亚的追杀，不幸发生车祸头部遭受重伤。为了给维克多筹措巨额手术费用，薇拉不得已委身于热尼亚。生意失败输掉全部家产的热尼亚想借维克多和中量级世界冠军里维拉比赛扳回一局，他收买维克多的经纪人阿利克说服维克多参加比赛。薇拉告知真相并劝诫维克多保重身体不要参加比赛，但是一向为国家而战，为格斗而生的维克多依然决定迎战。比赛前热尼亚威胁维克多如果不输掉比赛就会失去薇拉。第一轮表现出色的维克多在第二轮不见薇拉踪影后发挥失常险遭出局。幸好在阿利克的帮助下薇拉重回赛场，在爱人和教练的鼓励下，维克多一举夺冠。丧心病狂的热尼亚对离场的维克多和薇拉展开追杀最终未能得逞。

四名新生渴望在他们的第一次高中聚会上大放异彩。但正如人们常说的，计划永远赶不上变化，麻烦总是难免。
